This is probably the closest thing to a first conversation before we actually meet..

I’m one of those people who smiles… a lot. Sometimes without even realising it. I laugh easily, I get excited about little things, and I genuinely enjoy being around people. Life feels lighter when it’s shared, don’t you think?

I studied philosophy, which usually surprises people. It also explains why I can happily spend hours talking over a glass of red wine about almost anything. Books, travel, relationships, why people make the choices they do, or absolutely nothing important at all. I love those conversations where you suddenly notice it’s getting late because neither of us has looked at the time.

I’m quite an active person too. I love hiking, climbing, horse riding and anything that gets me outdoors for a while. There’s something about nature that resets my mind. Then again, I’m equally happy discovering a new restaurant, wandering around an art exhibition or sitting on a terrace with an espresso martini, watching the world go by.

One thing that’s always come naturally to me is looking after people. I like noticing the little things. Making sure you’re comfortable. Listening properly. Making you laugh if you’ve had a difficult day. I think caring about someone, even if it’s just for an evening, is a beautiful thing.

I’m naturally optimistic, I have a habit of finding something good in almost every situation. Maybe that’s why people often tell me they leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.

If we meet, I hope that’s exactly how you’ll feel too. Relaxed. Smiling. And wondering where the time disappeared.
