The Client’s Guide to Traveling with a Luxury Companion
A dinner date is a few hours. A trip is a few days. That difference – the jump from “hire” to “travel together” – is where most clients either build something genuinely great or fumble it. From our experience, we’ve compiled a quick guide so you know everything you need to take into consideration to make the most out of your travel experience.
What you actually need
When talking about “travelling with an escort” this can have several different meanings and we can generally divide these into three variations. Each of these in turn offer varied budget, logistics and expectations.
The plus-one trip. This refers to something like a wedding, an event, a conference or a business trip. Here the ideal companion is elegant, discrete, can blend in with the venue and people without raising any questions, can hold conversations on many topics and disappear politely when needed.
The romantic getaway. The first thing that comes to mind is a weekend in Paris or a week in the Maldives. You want the full girlfriend experience – affection, intimacy, shared meals, someone to actually be with as if it were the perfect honeymoon vacation. You will be able to totally relax, choose any plan: relax on the beach, discover a city or do many planned activities with the perfect girlfriend by your side.
The business + pleasure combo. This is usually those trips you already have planned to conduct business but want the free time you have to be guaranteed with a fun, loving and caring companion you have some rapport with. No need to shuffle through local options, depending on local availabilities, extra planning and even unpleasant surprises. It’s all taken care of when you are back at your hotel after a day of meetings with your companion waiting to give you a relaxing massage, accompany you to dinner and drinks and end the day with some sexy time. Making a boring business trip into an exciting adventure.
Choose the right girl and provider
Do not pick on looks alone. As we always say, of course looks are important, physical attraction is what adds that extra spice but you’ll be spending many hours together, and looks alone won’t be enough to create the perfect multi-day trip.
First off it’s important to choose a travel companion from a reputable site, better even if the escort has reviews which can verify not only her physical representation but also her service. A travel section on the companions or agencies website is another green flag that will define the professionalism of those who have experience and are ready to organise travel experiences. This will mean that they do this often and you won’t have to waste time by teaching logistics, even more, in agencies like ours we aim to reduce to the minimum any organisation you may have to be involved with so it should be as easy as choosing the companion, setting the dates and relax knowing she will be there.
Chemistry signals. Read her bio and ask the agency about what you value in a companion for a travel experience – does she have it? Is she witty? Warm? Does she say she loves travel?
Communication. Trust your instincts when talking to the agent or companion, reply efficiency, clarity and complete information before the booking signal everything will also run smoothly during the trip. Do they offer concierge attention? Do they show good organisational skills? Is the deposit mechanism transparent? Are rates clear? If the information is vague, generic or unclear it’s best to look for another option.
The booking: lead time, deposits, FMTY
1. Book early. A quality companion’s calendar for travel may need up to 2 weeks of advance. If you want her for a specific date, don’t wait until the same week.
2. Expect a deposit. Usually 20% of the total, often non-refundable if you cancel inside a window. This protects the model from you cancelling a trip she turned down other work for.
3. Understand FMTY. “Fly Me To You” is the standard arrangement where she travels to your city. It comes with a travel fee plus her day rate for travel days – yes, including the day she flies out and the day she flies back at least partially. She is giving up those days.
4. All terms should be best confirmed in writing, dates, times, rate, deposit, what is covered and cancellation policy. A written summary is a good sign of organisational efficiency and professionalism.
Money: who pays for what
The clean rule most established companions work to:
You cover
Her flights (business class on long-haul, if you’re a gentleman)
Her hotel room or a shared suite
Her daily travel rate / day fee
Meals, activities, transport
Gifts, shopping, tipping
She covers
Her own wardrobe, unless coordinated
Personal incidentals
Her own grooming and prep
Her return airport transfer, unless agreed
Two practical notes:
You may agree on a separate room for her, plan this in advance. Many companions prefer their own space to decompress, especially on trips over four days, although this isn’t a must it’s sometimes recommended. If she’s sharing yours, great – but for long trips some time alone is also needed.
Send the money up front, in full, before or at the start of the trip. Cash in an envelope, transfer or other arranged methods available (for example we also offer card payment and crypto options). Most importantly don’t make the companion or agency chase it on day two.
Logistics: flights, rooms, and the two-key rule
Book her flights yourself or reimburse immediately – don’t make her front a 1,800 eur fare and hope.
On flights: Business or first class on anything over four hours is recommended. An escort who arrives tired from an uncomfortable trip of 8 hours is a worse version of the one you paid for.
On rooms: A suite with two bathrooms (where available) is the best upgrade you can opt for on a long multi-day trip. One shared bathroom is actually a bit of a friction creator, more than most clients may realise.
The two-key rule: Even if you are sharing a room, it’s highly recommendable and appreciated to give her a spare key card and a genuine window for private time at least every two days, maybe some time to do yoga, a walk, reading or even a massage at the hotel spa. An hour to herself resets her energy and we can guarantee it will make the next 12 hours much more pleasurable for you in turn.
Wardrobe and the schedule
Send her the possible itinerary in advance – the actual plan, so she can clearly understand the dress codes, or send her the dress-codes with it if you prefer so. Coordination is key so nobody shows up over or under dressed.
Plan days with some breathing room, as back to back activities can mean you are both exhausted by the time it’s dinner. One anchor event per day, with unstructured time to relax and enjoy together is the sweet spot.
What to expect in public
This is the part where most misunderstanding happens. Always read her cues on PDA. Most high-end companions will be comfortable with hand-holding and light affection. Don’t automatically expect heavier PDA without checking when booking if this aspect is a must for you.
If you must present her, or are on a plus-one style trip, talk over the details before hand, what profession is she comfortable with being presented as, what name and so on, this will also create chemistry and team feeling between the two of you.
Discretion and phones
Ask before any photos or videos are taken, it’s common that for privacy she may not want to appear publicly – this is not about her not wanting to appear on photos next to you but more about her separation of private and work life. Ask before taking a photo, and if she’s okay with it also ask before posting if that’s your next step. A quick question can prevent future headaches.
No surprise visitors. If you’re meeting friends or family, tell her in advance so she can prepare — and tell her what they know about her.
Gifts, shopping, and tips
Not mandatory, but they’re the difference between “a client” and “her favourite client.”
A welcome gift — flowers in the room, her preferred champagne, a spa credit – lands hard on arrival day.
A shopping afternoon with a budget you’ve set (“pick something for tonight”) is a classic for a reason.
Tip the extras: a spa treatment, a hair appointment before a big event, a generous cash tip at the end. Ten to twenty percent on top of her rate is a strong close.
Write the thank-you note the day after. It gets you priority on the calendar next time.
Most common mistakes
– Treating the day rate as a clock. On a multi-day trip, the day rate is not “hours owed.” It’s a shared life for that day.
– Booking too short. A single overnight barely gets going. Three days is where travel with a companion actually shines.
– Forgetting she’s working. Yes, it feels like a girlfriend. She’s still on the job. Be considerate of her energy.
– Nickel-and-diming. Negotiating hard on a 400 eur flight after spending 6,000 eur on the trip isn’t the best look.
– No alone time. Constant togetherness for a week is a lot. Build in gaps.
– Too many itinerary changes. Flexibility is fine; chaos is not. Communicate.
– Ending it awkwardly. Don’t just hand over a cab and vanish. A proper goodbye – even a warm hug at the airport – sets up the next trip.
A Happy Ending
The trip ends, but the relationship doesn’t have to. We dearly appreciate a brief, sincere message a day or two after about what you enjoyed, a thank you – keeps you on the shortlist. Our trusted clients get better rates, attention and priority on prime travel dates.
If you want to travel together again, also share this.
We hope you liked our quick guide to travel with a companion and wish you safe and pleasurable travels!
Frequently Asked Questions
In most cases, the client pays the flights when inviting an escort to travel. For long-haul journeys, business class is recommended. The usual approach is for him to book the ticket or reimburse it immediately. It's part of the FMTY arrangement, alongside the travel fee. At Alta Models we sometimes arrange all inclusive packages for our trust and vip members.
FMTY stands for "Fly Me To You", the standard arrangement where an escort travels to your city to be with you. It includes a travel fee plus her day rate for the travel days, including the day she flies out and at least part of the return day.
The client always covers accommodation: his own room and hers, or a shared suite. If the escort prefers a separate room, it's booked in advance and paid for by the client too. Accommodation is never the companion's cost.
For a first experience, three days to a long weekend is recommended. A single overnight barely gets going; three days is where traveling with a companion actually shines. Beyond that, build in time to rest.
Although not mandatory, but very much appreciated. Ten to twenty percent on top of her rate is a strong close, plus covering extras like a spa treatment, a hair appointment before an event, or a welcome gift.
Ideally two weeks ahead for a trip. A good companion's calendar fills fast, and a specific date may need at least two weeks' notice. The earlier you book, the more options you have.
Yes, the norm is a deposit of around 20% of the total , often non-refundable if you cancel inside a window. It protects the escort from you cancelling a trip she turned down other work for. It's confirmed in writing.
Most high-end companions are comfortable with hand-holding and light affection. For heavier PDA, check when booking. Always read her cues.
Ask before taking the photo, and before posting it too. For privacy, many prefer not to appear publicly, as they keep their private and work lives separate. A quick question prevents headaches.
